£3,400
Two 17th century green glass Onion bottles, one with seal marked 'Jurdanston 1698' (sic), believed to be from Jordanston Manor, Fishguard, together with another similar green olive glass Onion bottle. 15 and 14cm high approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Visible chips to necks, the edge of the one with seal, very grubby, scratched and marked. The un-dated bottle has a surface blemish, showing clear glass like a chip, but doesn't seem to be. The seal bottle has two fine cracks running down the neck, curling across the body. Very difficult to see - easy to miss. The other bottle does not appear to have visible cracks.
